This book lists the officers reduced after the Nine Years' War (1689-1697) with a variety of additional details. The book was published in May 2013. - The First Colonial Soldiers: a survey of British overseas
territories and their garrisons, 1650 - 1714. Two volumes (co-authored with
Jonathon Riley)
Work on these volumes started in early 2013. The scope of the book is to list the various overseas territories, ranging from the Channel Islands to the East India Company's possessions, complete with introductory narratives and the units that formed the garrisons. Volume 1 on the British Isles, Europe, Asia and Africa (the Eastern Hemisphere) was published in November 2014. Volume 2 on the Americas and the Caribbean (the Western Hemisphere) was published in May 2015.

This project was started around 2008-09. Due to the project's scope, much new research has to be performed. This research included both publications on the reduced officers in 1699 and 1714. The project is planned to finish in 2014. - The allied prisoners of war taken at the battle of Almansa 1707
